Woman Claims Traveling to Hell During Near-Death Experience

Was her mind playing tricks on her?

While most people who are said to have gone through a near-death experience claim to have seen what is believed to be heaven, a woman who claims she died and returned to life said that she was on her way to hell before she was revived by paramedics. Because of the said experience, she now fears that she may no longer escape hell when her time finally arrives.

Sharing the experience on the Near Death Experience Research Foundation (NDERF) site, the woman, who hides by the name Audra, believes that she was traveling to hell after experiencing a grand mal seizure, a type of seizure that affects the entire brain. According to Audra, she fell into a hole that was just enough for her body to pass through.

As she was falling, she attempted to hold on to the inner walls of the hole although they were crumbling.

Audra wrote on the site:

“It smelled like tar and I could feel how rough it was against my fingers. I couldn’t see anything below me or above me. There was this rocky dusty substance that was flying all over the place, especially in my face. I couldn’t breathe and I started shouting, ‘Help me, I can’t breathe!’ But the more I shouted, the faster I fell.”

Though some people tried to talk her out of the belief, telling her that her mind could have just played tricks on her, Audra now firmly believes that she was indeed on her way to hell at the time of her near-death experience. For her, there is no question that her experience really happened – despite the fact that she did not believe in the existence of hell before.

Audra’s near-death experience has obviously traumatized her. Nonetheless, it also impacted her life in a positive way. Because of her fear of going to hell when she finally meets her demise, she now lives her life in a way to be deserving of a place other than hell in the afterlife.

Because of the experience, Audra is now striving a better person so that she can escape hell when her time comes.

She shared:

“I continue to live in this bondage-like fear-based state of doing all I can to deserve my place here and earn my place in the afterlife. Even when I do good, I scrutinize my sincerity and intention (‘was that really for them—or was it for me?’) I’m happy to say I am definitely a better person now — but not a happier person — for having had that experience.”

So she had a seizure and a dream she was falling into a dusty hole that smelled like tar. Sounds more like you fell into a pothole. Hardly a near death experience on her way to hell, unless they have potholes in hell

The equivalent of a bad acid trip. The brain unequivocally believes it’s real.

As the father and son just live a few homes away from each other, the siblings get to see each other on a regular basis.

There is no questioning that, despite the ills that come with Facebook, the social media platform still serves a greater good. Case in point is a post about eight children as young as months old to 14, looking for a home to adopt them. As the said post went viral, it caught the attention of Thad and his son, Jacob, both of whom, eventually, decided to take in the children after some deliberation.

Jacob, a married full-time college student, said in an interview as he revealed what he felt after seeing the said social media post.
