Couple Answers Back To People Criticizing Them For Having A Child With A Rare Disease

The father has a rare disease so the neighbors stopped them from having a child. Here's what the couple had to say.

Having a debilitating disease can hinder anyone to have a normal life, including someone who will give unconditional acceptance and love. But not for 30-year-old Simon Moore; he was diagnosed with a rare facial deformity called Treacher Collins, but this did not prevent him from having his only family.

His condition involves the abnormal development of the bones and tissues in the face. If ever he will be having a child, there is a great chance that his offspring will acquire the disorder.

He married Vicky, and like any other couple, they wanted to have a child. However, people dissuaded them because they know that the child will surely suffer from the disease like Simon. Nonetheless, they stood by their desire to have a child and explained to the critics that whilst raising their child would be hard, the feelings of fulfillment will surely make all the suffering worth it.
