Chinese Swiss Ring Watch Found in Ming Dynasty Tomb

In 2008, archaeologists reportedly discovered a tiny golden ring watch with the word “Swiss” engraved at its back inside a tomb sealed 400 years ago. Some researchers believe the probability of a time traveller from the future accidentally dropping the modern ring in the ancient location.

Cellphone Spotted in a Charlie Chaplin Film

An Irish filmmaker claims to have spotted a modern device in one of the scenes of Charlie Chaplin’s 1928 film “The Circus”. According to George Clark, a woman (or a man) wearing a long black coat appears to be holding a thin, black device resembling a cellphone.

The Time-Travelling Hipster in the 1940’s

Around 2010, a photo showing a time-travelling hipster in the 1940’s made rounds in the Internet. The real and unedited image was taken in 1941 during the reopening of the South Fork Bridge in Canada. One man seemingly dressed far too modern for the era stood out in the photo. Wearing a logo t-shirt and wrap-around sunglasses and holding a very small camera, the man was quickly perceived by Internet users as a time traveler.

The Strange Case of Rudolf Fentz

In 1876, a 29-year-old man named Rudolf Fentz disappeared without a trace. Several decades later, a man wearing a 19th century clothes got hit by a car and was killed in Times Square in New York City in 1950. Officials recovered bizarre things in his pockets including 70 dollars in old banknotes, a copper token for a beer worth 5 cents, a bill for horse care and washing of carriage, business cards with the name Rudolf Fentz as well as an address on the Fifth Avenue, and a letter sent to the said address in June 1876 from Philadelphia. Although the story was deemed by some as an urban legend, several researchers claimed to have proof of the existence and disappearance of Rudolf Fentz.

The Modern Man in A 1917 Photograph

While visiting a bookstore, a couple stumbled upon a 1917 photograph in the book The Cape Scott Story. The controversial 1917 photo shows a group of people with a man dressed in modern clothing who doesn’t seem to fit the whole picture. Described by about.com as a modern surfer-looking dude, the man looks like he suddenly dropped in the spot by the way other people in the picture are reacting to him.
