Makeup Artist’s Eye Illustrations Are All Sorts Of Awesome!

Here at EliteReaders, we love artists who think out of the box and showcase their creativity in unusual ways. So for this blog entry, allow me to put the spotlight on this awesome makeup artist Tal Peleg who creates what she calls “eye-art” since she uses well, basically, her eye as the canvas.

According to Tal, art has always been a “huge part” of (her) life and this new art style she’s been exploring have been the perfect way to merge her love for illustration, photography, and makeup.

She wrote on BoredPanda:

“Makeup is an amazing form of art, and I use it in order to make my eye tell a story. I don’t just paint on the eye, but try to use the shape of the eye and its natural curves as part of the illustration in a creative way.”

Tal said she draws inspiration from everywhere whether it be an emotion she felt, a movie she just enjoyed, and she even takes various elements from “fairy tales, animals, food, important social matter and more.”

To create these artworks, she uses eye shadows, eye liners, watercolors, and small brushes. Of course, each piece takes “hours of work and lots of patience” but Tal is quick to stress that she enjoys “every moment of the process.”
