Chinese Student Carries His Disabled Friend To School Everyday For Three Years Now.

Chinese student carries his disabled friend to school everyday for 3 years now so he wouldn't miss class.

The beauty of friendship, kindness and selflessness is what this awe-inspiring story is all about. A teenager named Xie Xu has been hailed ‘the most outstanding student in China’ for his bold act, carrying his disabled friend for three years now so he wouldn’t miss class.

Xie’s friend Zang Chi suffers from muscular dystrophy, a disease that results in progressive skeletal muscle weakness and potentially a shortened lifespan for the latter, especially in China. Xie makes at least a dozen trips everyday with Zhang and even brings his friend’s meal everyday. The dedication of these two inspiring boys doesn’t end there–they are both top students of their class too.

The story of 18-year-old Xie Xu, who volunteered to look after his 19-year-old classmate and friend Zhang Chi has been shared widely on Chinese social media and earned messages of support from many people.

Guo Chunxi, the deputy headmaster at Daxu High School in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province said,

‘He’s the most beautiful student. He also exerts positive influence on other students, who readily help Zhang. With their assistance, Zhang has never missed out on one single class.’
