Science Claim Your Partner’s Fart Can Make You Live Longer

You would probably stop covering your nose once you learn how you can live longer by smelling farts.

Are you willing to smell the fart of your partner for the rest of your life? It’s gross, but will you do it if experts say you can live a lot longer by smelling your partner’s stinky gas?

Scientists just released a claim that smelling your partner’s farts will amazingly make you live longer. The research team from the University of Exeter just discovered that it is good for you to inhale your partner’s farts as these gases they release can – surprisingly – combat diseases. Sounds like a scam but it might be true.

Scientists found a very natural way of prolonging life.

The study which was published in the journal Medicinal Chemistry Communications, presents analysis on the impact of the gas called hydrogen sulfide which humans produce in small amounts – or in lay man’s term, fart. Although it was found to be toxic in large doses, the researchers discovered that cellular exposure to considerable small amounts of fart can help prevent mitochondrial damage which has many health implications.

You’ll have to endure the bad smell though as the remedy involves farts.

One of the researchers, Dr. Mark Wood, said:

“Although hydrogen sulfide is well known as a pungent, foul-smelling gas in rotten eggs and flatulence, it is naturally produced in the body and could in fact be a healthcare hero.”

Scientists found out that the gas component of fart can prevent illnesses like cancer.

With that said, the gas in farts can reduce the risks of life-threatening illnesses like cancer, stroke and heart attacks. And when you eliminate these from your life, it only means that you can enjoy a longer life.

According to the team, fart has also been proven to prevent arthritis and dementia during your old age. With the new compound known as AP39, the team believes this can hold the key to future therapies to ensure that the body retains and produces the right amount of hydrogen sulfide. Furthermore, the researchers claim that the compound can be delivered to targeted cells in the body and placed inside.

The compound AP39 will make the cells in your body alive.

Adding to the benefits of smelling farts, Professor Matt Whiteman from the university’s medical school said:

“When cells become stressed by disease, they draw in enzymes to generate minute quantities of hydrogen sulfide.
This keeps the mitochondria ticking over and allows cells to live. If this doesn’t happen, the cells die and lose the ability to regulate survival and control inflammation.
We have exploited this natural process by making a compound, called AP39, which slowly delivers very small amounts of this gas specifically to the mitochondria.
Our results indicate that if stressed cells are treated with AP39, mitochondria are protected and cells stay alive.”

So the next time someone farts, don’t avoid the gas and just endure the smell.

Moreover, early results of the experiment also showed that AP39 can help lower high blood pressure and dramatically improve the chances of survival after a heart attack. This is reportedly possible as the gas can slow down the heartbeat.

The research team is now working towards testing the gas compound of fart in humans. And if they proved the claim effective on humans, you might as well stop covering your nose and rather thank your partner for the free and very natural way of prolonging your life.
