Rapper B.O.B. Insists Earth Is Flat, Sets Up GoFundMe Campaign To Prove It

Rapper B.o.B, who’s known for his hits “Airplanes” and “Nothin’ on You,” has always been a flat Earth believer. In 2016, he was involved in a Twitter spat with astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson when he insisted that the world is not round but is actually disc-shaped.

Now, B.o.B. (real name Bobby Ray Simmons Jr.) is taking his belief to the next level by setting up a GoFundMe page to prove that the Earth is not spherical. The money will be used to fund for a satellite that will be sent out into space, which will then prove that our world is not round.

Bobby Ray came to be known as a flat Earth believer in 2016.

Now, he’s seeking $200,000 in donations to prove that the Earth is flat.

B.o.B. hopes to raise enough money for a satellite that will find the planet’s “curve.”

According to IFLScience, $200,000 cannot pay for a state-of-the-art satellite but it would be enough to purchase one or a couple of CubeSat, which is enough to take images outside of Earth, which could then prove (or disprove) B.o.B.’s flat Earth theory.

And how did people react to this campaign?

There are actually those that support the music artist in his goal of raising the money needed. At the time of this writing, B.o.B. has already raised $2,958. Some flat Earthers have donated as much as $20 or $30 dollars. On the other hand, there are also those who were skeptical but still donated to the campaign anyway, just so the American rapper can prove himself wrong or be humiliated.

B.o.B. is not just the only celebrity who believes that the Earth doesn’t have a round shape. Kyrie Irving, Draymond Green and Tila Tequila are also among the “flat Earthers.”

Meanwhile, the Arab education community was recently rocked after a PhD student rejected theories of renowned scientists back in the day and presented a thesis to try and prove that the Earth, is, in fact, flat.
