Anything can literally turn into art with a creative mind. Just like today’s featured artist: Steve Casino. You wouldn’t believe how he makes exquisite tiny portraits! And how he started doing it was just accidental.

Steve was just eating some peanuts when he found one that looks just like him, so he started drawing his face on it, showed it to a friend who was impressed, and that’s when he started turning peanuts into art.

Steve has made over 200 pieces of peanut art in 3 years. But the highlight of his peanut art was when MTV asked him to create “Game of Thrones” characters to promote Season 5. His masterpieces have already caught the attention of the world and has been featured in Taiwan and China.

He would paint them and make sure he gets all the details accurately.

He first started creating peanut art in the form of famous people like The Beatles.

But he doesn’t limit himself to human peanut art. He can also create food in detail, like this mini hotdog…

He can also create peanut monsters.

And show that peanut is also brain food…

When lead pencils become too short or too small to be grasped, we tend to throw them away. But not this artist.

Meet Dalton Ghetti, a Brazilian-born artist/carpenter. He earned his Associate degree in Architecture at a community college in Connecticut, USA.

According to him, art is a hobby and a form of meditation. Having started with carving large objects, he shifted to carving small things in order to highlight its importance.

I’m always amazed by how much a talented artist can convey with fewer strokes than I’d take to create a horrible looking stick figure.

We here at EliteReaders love showcasing the works of fantastic artists – regardless of their chosen medium.

If you’ve been here before, you’ve probably seen that story about awesome street artists who were asked to create any artwork on a museum’s walls. Recently, we’ve also featured James Doran-Webb’s unique driftwood animal sculptures, Stefan Kuhnigk’s monstrous creations using random coffee stain, and Laura Jenkinson’s quirky cartoon-inspired makeup art.

For this blog entry, allow us to introduce you to the wonderful watercolor works of Clementine Campardou.
