What ‘FUN’ Meant During The Good Old Days. How Nostalgic!

‘I’m so glad I had a childhood before technology took over.’ We often hear this especially from the older generation – including myself. Yes, we’re grateful about technology and its perks but looking back, we had the best childhood and ‘old school’ memories even before PSPs, iPhones, iPads and whatnot came into the picture.

I know most of you are feeling nostalgic right now but wouldn’t it be exciting to wish for a ‘time machine’ and just go back to how it was, like be a kid again? I’d be the first person to make one I bet.

Do you remember having so much fun as a kid back then without those gadgets today’s generation are attached with ? Bliss–the fondest memory I have as a child. Dolls, swing set, slides, kids playing in the park, talking and giggling, using our imagination to make good of what we had then–simple joys and good old times that make us laugh and cry thinking about them now.

Luckily, these classic photos from Huffington Post come in handy for a ‘TBT’ or a ‘Flashback Friday’ and you just might want to make your own and relive moments from the past. Spanning from 1800s to 1970s, these images were captured in black in white giving each a vintage feel. Nevertheless, the look of happiness and contentment from the subjects are overwhelming and it made me miss my childhood even more. Kids these days should really take it from adults so they’ll know what they’re missing out now.
