Woman Gets Tattooed From Head to Toe, Spends Almost £20,000

Even her genitals have tattoos.

  • Her tattoos covered the top of her head down to the soles of her feet.
  • Most of Julia’s face is still tattoo-free, but she also plans to fill it up with tattoos of geometric flowers.
  • The people that she works with are very accepting of her body art but some of her family members have problems with it.

People with tattoos all over their bodies are nothing new and you can just imagine how much they spent on their inks. This woman became news because not only did she spend around £20,000 to cover her body with tattoos, she also has her genitals inked as well.

Julia Nuno, a 32-year-old residential carer from California, splurged on her body ink, which covered the top of her head down to the soles of her feet.

Earlier this month in Texas, she also had her genitals tattooed, despite concerns from her family.

At the moment, most of Julia’s face is still tattoo-free, but she also plans to fill it up with tattoos of geometric flowers.

“It’s taken me quite a while, I started getting tattooed as soon as I was old enough. It’s only over the last few years that I have been going constantly. I started out small with a hibiscus flower on my chest but it just ended up growing,” she said.

Julia added that she originally, she had no intention of getting a full suit of tattoos, but somewhere down the line, she decided to go fot it and now she just couldn’t stop.

She has spent three hours in tattoo shops every fortnight to add to her collection of body ink. She admits that it’s the sessions themselves and the whole process of getting the tattoos done that makes her go back for more. She also revealed that she lets the artist choose the design for the tattoos.

Shaving her head to get it tattooed was not really part of the plan and she held off doing it for a long time because she thought the idea was crazy. But when her body ran out of space, her head was the only logical choice to put on more tattoos.

“I feel like the more tattooed I am the more irritating it feels to see empty space,” Julia said.

She said that when everything is finished, she will go over her existing suit and have the colors and existing lines restored.

Julia said that although some people are turned off by her tattoos, there are others that are fascinated with them. Strangers come up to her wanting to touch her skin.

The people that she works with are very accepting of her body art, she said, but some of her family members have problems with it. She said that her mother doesn’t like face tattoos.

“It hasn’t made much of a difference in a romantic sense, some people are really into it and like me even more for my tattoos and others are put off but it’s what I want to do and it makes me happy, so I don’t worry too much about what other people think,” she added.
