Heartwarming Reunion of a Judge And Her Nicest Classmate, Now a Burglary Suspect

He used to be the nicest kid in town.

Ever wonder how the best and even the worst among your batch look like 10-15 years later? Given the tides of time, no one could ever predict what or how your life turns out. Some may be having a perfect office room with the perfect view. But there are still a few out there who never really made it. As they call it, they are the lost flocks of sheep.

What you are about to watch is an unfortunate reunion that does not really occur on a daily basis. Rather, it is only a reminder that sweet beginnings may also produce a bitter ending.

Judge Mindy Glazer recognizes a former classmate in court. A suspected man charged with burglary was under investigation and was due for a court hearing in Miami. Little did she know that this man was THE same man she used to play football with together with the rest of the kids. The bottomline — he used to be the good kid in town.

According to an arrest report, Booth was spotted driving a gold Honda Accord that was a vehicle suspected of being involved in a home burglary. When an officer tried to stop the Accord, Booth took off, and a pursuit began. Booth ran stop signs and was involved in two accidents before crashing the car in the area of Northwest 36th Street and North River Drive. Booth fled on foot but was caught a short time later, authorities said.–NBC News

Booth appeared before Judge Mindy Glazer in bond court. It all became emotional when Glazer asked,

‘Did you go to Nautilus Middle School?’

In just split seconds, the accused replied immediately a positive YES and just couldn’t help it but burst into tears.

‘Oh my goodness, oh my goodness,’ Booth said, as if in recognition. He then covered his face and started crying.

He continued to remorse as soon as Judge Glazer commented the next statements:

“I’m sorry to see you there, I always wondered what happened to you sir. This was the nicest kid in middle school, he was the best kid in middle school. I used to play football with him, all the kids, and look what has happened.”

Glazer continued with some words of encouragement,

“I am so sorry to see you there. Mr. Booth, I hope you are able to change your ways, good luck to you. What’s sad is how old we’ve become. Good luck to you sir, I hope you are able to come out of this okay and just lead a lawful life.”

Much as he used to be the protagonist in their youthful years, how the hands of life has changed him to the man he is now is certainly unpredictable. Needless to say, Judge Glazer can only wish him a better life and hopefully a newly-improved man once he gets out of this dark chapter.

Walks of life will never be the same for many. There are some who may have started from the top but just stumbled down as they journey their own path. How we transform is basically the transition of ourselves to the next level and whatever happens to us, we owe it to ourselves alone.
