Jason Momoa Reacts To Girl Scout Using His Shirtless Image To Sell Cookies

A little marketing genius has finally caught the attention of Jason Momoa. The Aquaman star has finally addressed a Girl Scout’s recent use of his shirtless image to sell cookies and he’s definitely loving it.

Charlotte Holmberg of Highlands Ranch, Colorado recently made headlines for putting Jason Momoa on special boxes of Girl Scout cookies. The Girl Scout Cookie CEO had rebranded the Samoas (or Caramel Delights) into “Momoas” and reportedly sold several boxes right away. Needless to say, Momoa himself was clearly impressed.

Charlotte said moms “needed” to get their hands on these Girl Scout cookies.

Momoa was recently in attendance at the 91st Academy Awards where he was asked if he knew about the Girl Scout who used his image on the cookie boxes. The former Game of Thrones actor admitted that he was a fan of the cookies and was even waiting to get some for himself.

“I love Girl Scout cookies,” Momoa said. “I was waiting to get some free ones. I’d love some.”

However, the Aquaman actor revealed he isn’t into “Momoas” and that he had a different favorite. “I want the shortbread,” he said. “And then you put those in the freezer and that’s the best way.”

Although Momoa is clearly cool with the use of his image, the clever marketing move had mixed reactions. Some people called the fifth grader a genius but others insisted that it was reverse sexism. Either way, it worked out great for the smart little Girl Scout.

It’s still unclear if Charlotte will actually send Jason Momoa some box of shortbreads but it wouldn’t be a big surprise. In the meantime, fans can expect to see more of the real Arthur Curry really soon.

It was recently confirmed that Aquaman will be getting a sequel. Momoa is set to reprise his role as the DC superhero. Aquaman 2 is scheduled for release on December 16, 2022.
