How Astronauts Make Their Coffee In Space

Pretty awesome!

If you’re like most people who can’t start the day without coffee, you have several ways to get your caffeine fix. You can make instant coffee or brew your own using a standard coffeemaker or one of those fancy French presses. Or you can just swing by Starbucks and get your coffee on the go.

But what about astronauts? I’m sure being in space doesn’t cure them of their caffeine craving. So how can they create coffee while confined in a zero gravity station where everything just floats around? The answer: vacuum-packed coffee and a straw. Watch and see how they do it.

I’m sure they prefer a steaming mug of coffee over this one, but hey, at least they got something.
