30 Sticky-Note Illustrations That Accurately Convey The Grim Realities of Adult Life

Absolutely funny! #8 is gold!

With all its perks and privileges, adulthood can surely be fun. Once you hit the so-called “legal age,” you can freely do things that weren’t really allowed when you were yet a kid. For example, you can check out bars, purchase cigarettes and alcohol, work full-time and then be able to spend your money on whatever you want. Along with that, you can also register to vote and drive your own vehicle.

There is no denying, however, that it is likewise a time of overwhelming responsibilities. You have to live up to high expectations not only from your parents but also from the society in general. In short, you are expected to act your age and be all mature. You need to keep a job to stay alive and, once employed, you get very little free time.

This is exactly the reason why Chaz Hutton‘s sticky-note illustrations are actually very hilarious.

With his simple lines and witty observations, this London-based artist successfully captured what it’s like to be an adult through his funny comics and graphs.
