50 Awesome Photos That Prove Burning Man 2017 Is The World’s Wildest Festival Ever
Once a year, tens of thousands of people gather in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to create Black Rock City.
We’ve all heard many crazy festivals across the world but clearly, the Burning Man is one of the most notable out there. Originally established in 1986 by two buddies who burned an 8-ft statue on a San Francisco beach, this year’s festival photos proved to be really insane.
So what exactly is the Burning Man Festival? Well the official website tells us it is billed as a “Radical Ritual.”
The site further says:
“Once a year, tens of thousands of people gather in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to create Black Rock City, a temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance. In this crucible of creativity, all are welcome.
“Burning Man isn’t your usual festival. It’s a vibrant participatory metropolis generated by its citizens.”

The Burning Man website likewise tells us that the organization aims to “bring experiences to people in grand, awe-inspiring and joyful ways that lift the human spirit, address social problems and inspire a sense of culture, community and personal engagement.”
With the photos we’ve seen this year, we do not doubt they did exactly that and that they will continue achieving the goal in the years to come.
