Barney the Dinosaur Actor Now Works as Tantric Sex Therapist

This gives new meaning to “I love you, you love me”.

Ever wondered where Barney the Dinosaur is right now? Well apparently, the man inside the suit has taken a massive career change after playing the beloved purple dinosaur from 1991 to 2001.

According to several reports we’ve gathered online, former actor David Joyner now works as a tantric sex therapist. He has since established a tantric massage practice and gets around 30 clients, charging them about $350 for a full 3-4 hour session.

“A lot of the elements of Barney were a lot of the things I was training within tantra,” Joyner said.

The actor event went as far as saying that his training with tantra has helped him handle the heat of donning the heavy costume even in hot temperatures.

Joyner added:

“I always said it was never an accident, and that I was meant to do this character.

“The energy I brought up [while] in the costume is based on the foundation of tantra, which is love. Everything stems, grows, and evolves from love.”

Barney head writer Stephen White said he wasn’t entirely surprised when he found out about Joyner’s radical career change.

White shared:

“I did know David was a very spiritual guy, very positive guy — he radiated energy. He was a positive person to be around.

“I thought it was an interesting transition for Barney. It’s kind of still the ‘I love you, you love me’ deal, but different.”

It’s all about love!

Joyner, who is now 54, went as far as saying his work involves “worshipping” his “goddess” clients by helping them experience spiritiually-fulfilling sex – and powerful “cosmic” orgasms.

Joyner believes all women are “goddesses” and that no food can compare to “goddess nectar”.

In an Instagram post, he once wrote:

“As a Tantra Massage Specialist and Energy Healer: The basic philosophy of Tantra is that all women are Goddesses, and when touching a Goddess or being intimate with a Goddess you should also understand you’re touching the hand of God and her spiritual connection with God.”

He even got into some juicy details when describing what the experience during tantric sessions:

“When you go down on a woman (orally), it should be just like you’re saying grace, like blessing the food you’re about to receive. No food in the world can compare to goddess nectar because spirit is involved.

“Before you taste the goddess nectar, give thanks. Say grace. I would love women to understand how powerful that energy is.

“Once the lingam is inside the yoni, there’s a technique where you don’t even move. You’re harmonizing spiritually and consciously, as you’re looking into each other’s eyes, and you’re feeling each other’s energy take place. This is about energy moving up.”

Well we sure hope he isn’t wearing the Barney costume while doing his thing. That would be a hard image to unsee!
