Child desertion or abandonment is a well-known issue all over the world. It is a criminal offense under state laws which vary by state and comes with some imposed penalties. Sadly, the said case is still prevalent in several countries and countless innocent children are gravely affected.

In Chelyabinsk, Russia, a tiny three-day-old baby was found covered with ant bites, crying in Russian woodland after being abandoned. The badly bitten baby still has her umbilical cord attached when she was discovered by a man who decided to take a short cut on his way to work.
