Gas-Powered Adult Version of Little Tikes Car Now Up For Sale on eBay

Most of us are familiar with that attractive red and yellow plastic toy car by Little Tikes. You may have bought one for your child or may have driven one yourself as a toddler. If you can remember, this one is driven by foot power, pretty much like how the Flintstones drive their rock and wood vehicles.

Well, two guys from Oxfordshire, UK created a roadworthy adult-sized counterpart of this iconic toy car. John and Geof Bitmead spent a lot of time on their garage to make this impressively cute vehicle.

Brothers John and Geof Bitmead designed this roadworthy version of the classic Little Tikes toy car.

The mechanic brothers tweaked a Daewoo Matiz and eventually managed to make this street-legal replica of the Cozy Coupe. It took them 1,000 hours of work and around $6,193 (£4,000) before they managed to finish this back in November 2013.

The two-seater, right-hand-drive vehicle is now up for sale on eBay.

The Bitmeads are actually selling the car online now. Interested buyers can get this vehicle for the price of $33,290 (£21,500) over at eBay.

The brothers assured buyers that the car is “guaranteed to create smiles wherever it goes.”

The eBay post said:

We have covered over 5,000 miles in the past two years driving around shows and charity events in the UK and, apart from it not being the fastest car on the planet has been the most incredible fun with people queuing up to take photos along dual carriageways and highways on every trip. Guaranteed to create smiles wherever it goes!

I would definitely love to buy this if only I had the money but alas! I just can’t afford this awesome toy.
