10 Cartoon Houses That Were Actually Built In Real Life

I've always wanted to live in #6.

It’s no secret that all children (and some adults) are fascinated by cartoon shows and animated movies. No matter what a person’s age is, certain cartoon characters remain someplace in their hearts, be it the way they speak, the way they dress, the way they eat or the place where they live.

These animated childhood heroes live in worlds and homes that many would love to see first-hand. Fortunately, fanatics took their love for these characters to a whole new level and decided to replicate their homes in our world. Here are ten cartoon houses that you won’t believe exist in real life.

1. The Simpsons’ house.

2. The house from the movie, “Up.”

A man in Utah was inspired by Ellie and Mr. Fredickson’s house that he decided to make a replica, but minus the balloons.

3. SpongeBob’s pineapple house.

Spongebob Squarepants lives in a pineapple, which is very impossible to do in the real world. So in order to make it possible, a replica villa in Nick Resort Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is made of something sturdy.

4. The “Hobbit Hole” house.

5. The Flintstones’ house.

This home is actually called “The Flintstone House” and is in Hillsboro, California. It can be seen from the Interstate and was once even more prehistoric-looking before the orange paint job.

6. Barbie house.

7. Minnie Mouse’s house.

The Minnie Mouse house is something that you should see to believe. The Mickey’s Toontown Fair, in Orlando, Florida and in Disneyland Anaheim, California, looks so identical to the cartoon version that it could make you feel like you’re in an animated Disney series.

It can be seen at the Mickey’s Toontown Fair, in Orlando, Florida and also in Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland Anaheim, California.

8. Snow White’s cottage.

9. The Jetsons’ futuristic house.

10. Bruce Wayne’s manor.

This mysterious, unusual looking house looks like Gotham City’s most famous mansion.
