Giving birth after nine months of waiting is one of the most amazing feelings in the world. To finally hold and care for your baby is definitely a dream come true.

No one can take away that moment, but in this report, new parents were devastated after their newborn daughter was easily kidnapped by a woman who pretended and dressed up as a nurse.

Melissa McMahon and Simon Boisclais from Quebec, Canada had just welcomed their baby girl, Victoria. They were so happy and took many pictures together with her.

One day, a woman dressed as a nurse came to them and told them that Victoria needed a routine test. So, they handed Victoria to the woman. Thirteen minutes later, the hospital called the police as Victoria was kidnapped.

Fortunately, the security cameras were able to capture the face of the thief. Simon posted pictures of Victoria and the thief on Facebook, hoping someone would be able to help them. In a fateful turn of events, Victoria was returned to her parents after kind strangers recognized the thief as an old neighbor.

In the hospital, medical staff usually go inside the patient’s room from time to time to ask questions, give instructions and inform patients about pending tests and procedures. The environment is fairly safe, but we still need to take extra caution always. Ask questions, accompany your baby everywhere and be mindful of your surroundings. You’ve waited for that precious blessing for who knows how many years, don’t let anyone steal your baby.
