You’re Not Seeing Double! This Two-Face Look is All Makeup!

Some people say makeup is used to fool people into thinking you look better than you actually do. Others would say makeup simply enhances one’s natural beauty. In the case of YouTube makeup guru Promise Phan, makeup is used to create amazing illusions that might literally make you think you’re seeing double!

Promise’s trippy makeup look starts off with her regular makeup look. She then starts drawing eyebrows on her cheeks, followed by eyes complete with the same eye shadow, eye liner and lashes she has on her eyes. To draw in her second set of eyeballs, she uses a white eye shadow pencil, and some gel liner.

If that’s not trippy enough, she also draws a nose on the bridge of her actual nose, complete with contour. And for the finishing touch, she uses some liquid lipstick to draw lips on her chin, along with a bit of dark eye shadow for the grooves of the lips.

One of her most recent videos is a tutorial for creating the Lips on Eyes filter from Snapchat. And believe us, it’s just as trippy as her “double vision” looks!

Of course, since these looks aren’t for your everyday makeup looks (at least we hope not!), she also has full-on creepy Halloween makeup illusion tutorials. Our favorite? This creepy stitched mouth look that only requires some black thread, a bit of spirit gum or eyelash glue, brown and red face paint, scissors, and a big needle.
